The KYLA Education & Skills Development Program is a flagship program of the Kampala Youth Labourers Association (KYLA) focused on equipping young people and underserved community members with relevant knowledge, practical skills, digital competencies and employability capabilities needed to participate meaningfully in the modern economy. • The program responds to the growing gap between formal education, practical workplace skills and the rapidly changing demands of employment, entrepreneurship and digital work. • KYLA believes that education should go beyond academic qualifications. Young people need practical, market-relevant and income-generating skills that enable them to access employment, start businesses, provide services, participate in digital opportunities and contribute to the development of their communities.
